        SpendLogger is a privacy-first application. We believe your financial data belongs to you and no one else. Our app is designed to work entirely offline by default.

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal or financial data to our servers. All information you enter into SpendLogger stays on your device.

Financial Data: All expenses, income, categories, and budgets are stored locally on your device in an encrypted or protected database.
Personal Information: We do not require account registration. No name, email address, or phone number is collected by the app.

2. Permissions

The app may request the following permissions for specific features:

Camera/Photo Library: Used only if you choose to attach receipt images to your expenses. These images are stored locally.
Storage/Files: Used for creating and restoring backups and exporting data (PDF/Excel/CSV).

3. Backup and Sync

SpendLogger provides optional backup features:

Local Backups: Encrypted backup files stored on your device's local storage.
Manual Export: You may choose to share or upload your backup files to your own cloud storage (like Google Drive or iCloud). This process is initiated by you, and the data is handled by your chosen provider's privacy policy.

4. Third-Party Services

Firebase Crashlytics: We use Firebase Crashlytics to monitor app stability and fix bugs. This service may collect anonymized technical data (e.g., device model, OS version, crash logs) that does not identify you personally.

5. Children's Privacy

Our app does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
